Taylor Brands does not produce or sell any automatic style knives.  We do clearly state this fact in our catalogs as well as our website.  Please understand that while the product you have sent to us for repair is an item that has been manufactured by us this item has had an after market conversion making it into an automatic.  We do not condone this practice and it does void our normal warranty as the knife’s functioning mechanisms and design have actually been changed into something it was not meant to be.

We will be happy to send you back your product or we would prefer to destroy the item and replace it with the closest thing we have to this style of knife which would be one of our assisted opening models.  Again please understand as we do not make or sell automatic knives we therefore have no way to repair them.
